COASTAL SNIPpets October 2024

For safety, I am currently touching wood while I write this, but I think we can say we are now in Spring.  We have progressed through Winter, fake Spring, second Winter, Spring of deception, third Winter and we should now be coming into true Spring.  A few nights ago, a family member declared it ‘smells like summer’ and while it may have just been them trying to manifest that, there is definitely something different in the air the past few days.

Those of you who have been receiving our SNIPpets over past years will know that Rob considers the AFL grand final to be the kick off for Spring.  Mother Nature may be a footy fan, as she has orchestrated the weather so players and fans alike get to experience true football conditions (cold & wet) for the whole season.  But at Coastal, we can now pack away our scarves and beanies and pull on our best gardening gloves as we head into our busiest time of year.

We have already made a huge head start on the Spring preparation, with lots of weeding and mulching, but it is only the start.  We anticipate October and November to be a very busy time in your gardens so if you have any special requirements or requests for your properties, please let us know as soon as possible so we can work them into an already packed schedule.   We highly value our loyal, regular clients and want to ensure that you are prioritised and your properties completely catered to for the festive season.  As you are our main focus, and with the schedule already filling up so fast, we are considering the possibility of having a cut-off date for extra works for Christmas.  With this in mind, we want to reiterate how important it is going to be to contact us as soon as possible if you have any extra garden tasks.
